?? Someone on another forum had recommended this hospital over Texas Health Harris downtown Fort Worth. But after reading some of these reviews, I am wondering if they actually meant writing a review for the horrible downtown location as well as it's emergency room Downtown?? I noticed also this is the same Katie@ that answers her same "I am so sorry you had that experience..... blah blah blah"???? Can someone please assure me these reviews are really for the Southwest Harris and NOT the Downtown Harris?
NEVER AGAIN! I took advantage of the Mobile Unit coming to my area for a long overdue mammogram. I had to do a repeat of one breast a couple weeks later due to technical issues and a possible abnormality. At the time, I provided them the info to get my previous mammogram report for comparison. They said I'd have the results in about two weeks. Nothing ever showed up. Turns out, they never even got the previous mammogram records and were still waiting on them before they could make their report. Seriously? HOW LONG WERE THEY GOING TO WAIT AND MAKE ME WAIT? I gave them the number to call for the records! I am on pins and needles all this time due to the possible "abnormality" and the fact that I have developed some breast issues in the meantime. I need answers...YESTERDAY! So I called the place that had the report and images from my last mammogram and they are sending them to my PCP. On top of all this, when I tried to call the breast center (during operating hours) the line for med records never picked up. It just rang and rang. Then I called back to get the operator and got a message that they were closed and to leave a message. This was at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday! This is not the first time I called and got no answer...during business hours. VERY lax and unprofessional.
Just got release from the hospital and I cannot say enough good things about the place. I was in Room 4250 and I have not been treated in a hospital as well as I was this past weekend. The nurses and other staff went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Also this is the first time that I can say the hospital food was great. I like the many options we had and the fast service once you had ordered. Everyone there goes the second mile.
My mother recently went into the ER and ended up being here ten days. All of the staff at this hospital were amazing. Every single staff member we dealt with was friendly, caring, accommodating, patience, and just overall professional. It was impressive that over a ten day stay we never encounter any problems or poor bedside manner from anyone. The ER, ICU, doctors, nurses, medical techs., nutritionist, housekeeping, and discharge nurse all treated my mother and I very well. Her follow ups with Dr. Grimes at the hospital have also been great. Dr. Grimes and his staff are so friendly and caring.
The nurses on the 5th floor were amazing. They took such great care of my mom. Me too for that matter. Asking me if i was okay. Listening to my fears and consoling me. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did. Mom is on the way to recovery and a large part is due to their caring nature.
