First off this place is great hospital to have a baby. They did a great job with making sure we were well taken care of. Having a csection done a second time I was afraid. Sure enough, having great reassurance everything came out fine. Nurses are great, the doctor checks on you often, and the rest of the staff is phenominal. The food is also great, order the grilled chicken salad (yes you get to pick your food on the TV!) All I have to say is thank you for making my second pregnancy a more pleasant experience.
Horrible hospital. The nurses are not very helpful, but the physicians are skilled. They are extremely slow and lethargic with their care, everything takes an hour to attend to, despite not many patients. They had no wound care in the entire hospital, which basically makes the ER useless if you have any size wound. I still can't wrap my head around that. They hospitalized me for a day, had a wound care nurse come in and give bad wound care which my regular out-patient clinic said has actually set me back days. They had no authority to remove my wound vac, but they did and gave me bad advice. I do not recommend this facility. The rooms are nice though.
Great people in the OBGYN department where our son was born three three ago.
I can't say enough about how well I was treated at this facility. I was admitted and put on the second floor. These lovely ladies made me feel as home as anyone possibly could. Shout out to the nurses on that floor. Top notch! Not sure who is in charge up there but I will tell you the nurses seem to really care about their patients.
Last month(3 years later) I visited a friend in tnt main hospital and I was impressed by the quality of those facilities and the compassion shown by the team caring for him, while I was visiting.
Horrible billing staff. Tried to get me to leave a deposit that would have been 5K more than my final bill ended up being. Called as soon as we received a bill and offered to settle in cash for a discount. They said no. Ok, that's fine, but let me see an itemized bill before paying. Asked twice, never received one. Despite making payments they sent the bill to collections less than 3 months after the first bill came. Horribly rude and snotty billing department. I can only hope my Dr has priveleges at a different hospital. I am telling everyone I know to go across the street to Medical City despite my physician being amazing.
Parking could be better...way better.
