If your established with a doctor makes no difference. When you are sick they cannot get you in for 2 weeks. Then they suggest the walk in clinic at your clinic. So you walk in to be told nope.cant see you today. Make a walk in appt. By that time you've been sick for days. So you must go to the ER at midnight because you seriously can't wait for the "walk-in" appt a day later. Seriously. This is not good for the patient or the financial side of health care.
Go some where else please? This hospital is not a good choice. Staffed with very few health care professionals. It's staffed with homeless people off the streets using restrooms for showers & waiting rooms for a place to sleep. And the thought of seeing America's fastest food chain with the golden arches is a red flag. Pre-diabetes is a real issue and we all need to take it serious. Why is this hospital operating and where's the CEO the boss the person that has let this establishment just run on its own. By so many off the streets.
It is touch and go with the staff here at JPS. Some don't want to listen to your concerns while others are very compassionate. I have walked out of there very happy about the service and I have walked out there feeling like a Nurse Practitioner didnt give a damn.
This is the absolute bottom of the barrel.I was in prison for 10 years and I was never handled like this. I now have 5 1/2 hours wait time to get my temp and blood pressure taken 3hours last time and I got fed up and left there were only 3 of us now new day with appt 2 hours 45in temp and blood pressure. Why make an appointment??? If u have a choice of coming here or dying .funeral home is gonna b faster than jps.
The care is better here than the for profit hospitals. The onsite rehab means continuity of care! Many use the E.R as a clinic meaning long waits & over worked staff
