My grandson loved going to this outpatient program. I was always informed of changes and/or situations by the school and transportation. Unfortunately, he ended up needing inpatient but I feel that he received great care while at Excel. I would definitely recommend them.

I called to see what I can do about my transicript since my mother misplaced it. When I was transferred to the lady that's taking care about the school things I explained to her my problem when she asked how she could help me. But while I was explaining she goes EXCUSE ME EXCUSE ME EXCUSE ME EXCUSE ME EXCUSE ME What's the name? I told her and she goes "I wouldn't habe known that" then she continued asking how to spell it and she was so rude about it interrupted me and said "l'll send then to your school I'll send them to your school" over all I was patient anf let her talk to me the way she did I was not going to start problems ober the phone. Over all very rude lady she needs to lighten up and help people like she should! It's the end of summer sorry you might have lots of work but it's your job deal with it correctly or don't choose that career!!!!!

I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to this place! The Director, Dicey Smith, is a very rude lady! She made false allegations on my Son and demanded that he be sent to a psych hospital for children. She just wanted my Son gone from Excel! In her words, "He needs to go!" I am very angry about this place. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS PLACE! If possible, find somewhere else for them to go for help. One star is too much to give this place but it is the only way that I can write a review.....One angry Mom

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I was recommended through Millwood Hospital in Arlington. From the moment you walk in, staff at the front desk were very unpleasant and didn't welcome me in warmly. At least shoot me a smile! My daughter was enrolled for 2 weeks and was offered Zoloft within 2 days of entering their facility. They didn't even try to come up with a therapeutic coping plan or anything before taking this approach. I've come to the conclusion that they find it easier to medicate these kids so they can stick whatever garbage they want in their heads or just because it's easier for them so they don't have to do their jobs. I declined Zoloft and told them that they should at least try other approaches first before possibly needing Zoloft for the rest of her life, as some people do when they start taking it, and I didn't want to risk it. My daughter is only 8 years old. I was beginning to get concerned about her school work and didn't want her to fall behind in her home school so I asked if I could speak to her teacher to ask about how she was doing and if she had schoolwork I could see. She claimed she gave it to my daughter to bring it home but I never received it. When I asked if she had any in her classroom she replied no. She tried reassuring me passive aggressively that "this isn't her first rodeo and that she's been teaching for 10 years" but at that point I saw her as pretty useless at comforting me. Now, for her therapist, she always brought out the bad in my daughter. My daughter would come home and tell me she's the happiest she's ever been, but her therapist would tell me otherwise. I withdrew her.

I was in DBT, and I loved Ms. April. I was in an odd situation with another patient. The only issue I had was the way they handled that situation. I was just told not to sit to them. And when I did, they didn't do much. It was a "slap on the wrist, don't do that again, do that" type of thing. I feel like if the staff was more involved with the patients, and not just the one therapist, then it would be higher rated in my book.
