Pricing on these can get crazy! Their pricing was very reasonable and their bedside mannerisms made it more than worth it!!!
Dr. Dean and his staff are caring and knowledgeable. Our dog had both ACL's repaired, which makes for an eventful year. We would not have been able to do it without Fort Worth Vet Surgical.
We knew surgery was the only option and made an appointment. From the first call I was impressed. Super nice, had all paperwork filled out for me before arriving, explained pricing VERY clearly and honestly as to managing my expectations was a concern of theirs.

I read other review about another facility here locally with a very similar name and became concerned. Not so much about the medical aspect rather their billing practices. My experience at FTWVS exceeded my expections to say the least especially with the billing aspect!
We left Kipper there, and knew he was in the right place with caring people. Calls when he went into surgery, a call from Dr Dean when he got out, text with a picture of our Kipper resting assuring us he was comfortable were all priceless!!
Our 3 year old Mini Aussie started favoring his left rear leg over time. Turns out it was an torn ACL. We do carry Nationwide Pet insurance thankfully (shop around there are better ones) as we got it the month we got him.
Upon pick the follow day, again expectations were exceeded! Step by step handling proceedures, written and verbal, multiple staff members sharing their roles, and Dr Dean again showing the X-rays and walking us through patiently. No rush, basically they do not want you to leave until you are ready.
Dr. Dean and his staff took great care of Champ today. I've been so worried about him and they knew that so it seemed they went above and beyond normal efforts to assure me they were doing the best for Champ. Everyone was friendly and caring. And Champ is feeling better!
Upon arrival we went straight back, went over billing options again, and it felt like family from the first moment! Super professional, place was clean, smelled nice, everyone had a smile and loves what they are doing as it obvious.
They have 5 stars for a reason!!! They earned it from their customers.
Do not hesitate with these folks. Go see for yourself, I would bet your experience will be the same as we saw several customers dealing with tough situations, but felt good about the place they were seeking help.

Dr. Dean in his staff are definitely a dying breed. I am so very greatful to him and everyone in his office. They did a remarkable job of taking care of my precious Peanut. Dr. Dean is like no other animal physician I have ever met. He truly cares about animals; it was very refreshing to have my love taken care of by people who cared about his well being more than they cared about my pocket book. I will never take my cat or any other future animal to anyone other than Dr. Dean. The only thing I don't like is that I can not make him my regular veternarian. Its hard to find people like you Dr. Dean. You and your entire staff made my heart smile and I can't thank you guys enough.
Dr Dean... wow. Class Act. Smart and knows not only pets but their owners. After X-rays he and 2 other staff members walked me through everything showing me on the computer exactly their concerns. We then discussed 3 options and we chose the TPLO. Dr Dean explained in a very simple easy to understand way the differences and it was fantastic. Make this choice was much clearer and easier thanks to his professionalism and understanding of all variables.
