I would give more than 5 stars if I could, my miniature dachshund Brownie injured her spine last year. It was painful to watch her drag her hind legs, at the recommendation of our veterinarian we took her to DVSC for a consultation and they did exactly what they said they would and the results were fantastic brownie recovered in about six weeks from surgery and then took a few months for full recovery, now 10 months later I can't slow her down of course we don't let her jump off of anything but she can run just as good as when she was a puppy if I had it to do over again I would, From my entire family we thank you!!
I cannot say enough good things about this clinic, the staff, and the doctors. They performed spinal surgery for my little dachshund and they made the experience as smooth and painless as possible for her and me. We went in in late 2016 and we able to manage her pain medically..but October 2017, she took a turn for the worse. They were able to get her in for same day surgery, saving her from paralysis that would've likely ensued. I highly, highly recommend this clinic and the care they provide. They kept us informed at every step. Dr. Graville called us daily with updates on her recovery, and explained her discharge information in a really easy to understand way. It was so refreshing to have such a positive experience in a hospital...where EVERYONE was so competent and good at their jobs. It's obvious they really care about the health and well-being of the pets in their charge. I'll be singing their praises forever and referring anyone who needs specialized surgical pet care.

I have dealt with both Dr. Sura and Dr. Gurney for my Bentley and his medical problems. The doctors are very caring and knowledgeable and the staff is always very welcoming. It's not inexpensive, but they know what they're doing there and they care deeply about the animals. I would recommend them anytime.
Referred by our local town Vet to see Dr Burney for diagnosis and evaluation and treatment of our 6 yr old tiny Shi Ti Zu. We Drove 3 hours. It was a positive experience from the moment we walked in. Caring knowledgeable and friendly staff. We watched as others were given reports about their pet in waiting room. Everyone was treated with kindness and respect. When it was our turn we were very happy with the care & concern and complete attention to our beloved fur baby. We were given top service and would not hesatite to recommend or return if needed. The staff and Dr Sura were amazing..they did emergency treachea surgery on my baby, Baxter..my husband and I will be forever greatful..
