The doctor was unbelievably rude. Beyond that, I brought my animal in because I believed that he swallowed something that endangered his life. Instead of speaking with a technician or a doctor, I sat for two hours and waited. Then they come back and ask if I want an x ray at a price that is a factor of ten more than my regular vet. I asked a hypothetical if I couldn't pay immediately. Turns out they keep your animal lol. Just wow. Please don't respond "owner" I don't care.
Cruel and dishonest. Asked me for an $800.00 deposit after looking at my dog for 5 minutes. Recommended a $2,500.00 procedure, I told her to wait for a few hours so that I could take the dog to my vet. She called me 1 hour later saying that the dog was dying and that I could have prevented if I had spent the money. Losing a pet is already very painful, being told that it die because we refuse to spend the money is very cruel.
Just so disappointed in this place. Wanna charge out the ass. We went to a smaller clinic in Plano and got excellent care for no were near 1700 we were given here. Then they wanna just put my fur baby down for 300$ instead....never again
I don't usually like to make reviews for anything, but this just really dissappointed me. I had just gotten home from work around 11 pm and I found a small stray cat that had got hit by a car in front of my house. I didn't want to leave him out there alone because I knew he was in pain. I wanted to help him. He had a broken leg, it was so bad to the point where you could see his bone. At this time at night no animal shelter is open so I tried looking up a 24 hr animal hospital near me and this was the nearest one so I called to see if there was anything I could do from home. Now, I know how expensive it can get to get the proper medical attention. But the part that really disappointed me was that when the receptionist answered I asked her if I could possibly get any tips on what to do to at least for the night until I was able to call an animal shelter the next morning and she said she'd be right back, so then she put me on hold. I waited for a good 30 mins, my phone in my ear the whole time until I finally realized she probably wasn't going to get back to me. I understand that they can get busy, but it didn't hurt to check to see if I was still on the line and let me know it was going to take a while. I was calling with hopes of getting someone to help me help the poor cat.
Our Bengal was sick, very sick. He blood was coagulating in huge amounts. He was in trouble. We have never used Fort Worth Animal Hospital but was directed there by our family vet because they just aren't set up for this type of emergency. Dr Tonya Stephens immediately started caring for him and to assess the situation. When she came into the room with a diagnosis, I immediately knew things were not good. Dr. Stephens was so kind and caring as well as everyone else on staff that we met. She took her time giving us all the information we needed as a family to make one of the hardest decisions no one wants to make. I cannot say enough nice things about this vet and the entire staff.
