Awesome people, very helpful, and shop has good vibes.
Have been bringing mi road bike up there for service for a while now..
I have been a loyal Colonel’s customer for a few years. I have purchased my last two bikes from them, and taken my bikes to them religiously for service and upgrades. About four months ago I had my bike in the shop to get the front fork serviced due to a popping noise coming from the fork. They sent off my fork for repair and performed a complete service on the entire bike and cleaned it up for me. The bike looked great. Since then, I have had my bike back in the shop 4 additional times to have issues fixed that were not present prior to having the service performed. Each time I received my bike back, I noticed a new issue with it and have to bring it right back into the shop for service. I know that bikes can be finicky, so I didn’t hesitate when handed the bill for each repair completed, but today was the last straw. This last trip into the shop was for a loud squealing noise in my headset and the popping noise in my fork again. I was told that my fork repair was not under warranty and that I would have to buy a new fork. On top of that, I was handed a bill for the labor to look at the fork and to fix the headset. I was not comfortable paying this bill and expressed my concern but was still asked to cover the bill regardless. I am very disappointed in Colonel’s Service Department. Here I stand, 4 months after bringing my bike in for the initial service, with the same loud popping in my front fork that I initially had, and about $300 dollars lighter in the wallet. I can’t help but feel like I was taken advantage of and I will not be returning to Colonel’s Bicycles. The guys at Colonel’s are a good bunch, but it saddens me to say that today, they lost a loyal customer over a $75 service fee.
Tommy's incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to share what he knows. Couldn't recommend this place more highly.
Came in to get a opinion on how to fix my brakes and turns around not even knowing that I would get charged for Nonething but taking my wheels off and looking at my brakes which is sorry
Great place.. they are always very helpful.
