Big zoo. Lots of attractions. Some interactive things for the little ones, too. Food vendors. Stores. A little western town theme in the zoo. Also a small Waterpark. Usually busy. Season tickets are a bargain.
Chain location inside a zoo - tolerable (great staff) but naught more
A Texas tradition. Good BBQ at the zoo. You can stop here for a quick meal that is decent or one of the other restaurants in the zoo. If you plan right there are plenty of choices nearby.
