For an entree I ordered the pecan crusted reddish, and my wife ordered the grouper, which was the special of the day and with grouper as the main ingredient. I was thinking there was no way the entrees could be better than the appetizers. I was wrong. Both entrees were off the charts in both presentation and taste.

Great selection of unique entrees. 6 meals, everyone said theirs was awesome. Elk tenderloin was fabulous.

Great place. A menu for the extravagant, but also the budget conscient. The oysters we're amazing. I don't even like oysters. Will be going again. No doubt.

My only regret is that I wasted so many years knowing it was there, but not trying it.

I can't even begin to put into words how delicious our food was. I have seen Bonnell's for years. And always wondered about it. Then I read some reviews. I thought to myself self "Surely all of these people are exaggerating". So, one day I was searching for a new place to take my wife on a date. This time I decided to take her to Bonnell's, and I made reservations.

Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. It took us a while to decide what we wanted to eat because it all looked so good. We finally decided. My wife ordered the butternut squash soup, and I ordered the Texas Shrimp & Grits as an appetizer. I have never like butternut squash, nor grits. Somehow, both of these were some of the best tastes I have ever experienced. They were both incredible.

Bonnell's is always rated among the best in the Metroplex and deservedly so. I appreciate the fact that there are inexpensive items on the lunch menu to go along with the higher-end menu items. It's all good.

The whole experience was probably the best i have ever had at any restaurant in my life. I can't say enough good things about Bonnell's. I can say this much though - they now have new "regulars". My wife and I plan on returning as often as possible.

It's been a while since I've been here but my last experience was terrific. I had the southwestern smoked chicken stack. The food was beautiful and soo juicy. I even had a chance to meet with the chef, great guy. I would love to go to this place often but it quite expensive. Nevertheless, it was well worth my money and time.
