Tried some over rated German food near Lake Conroe Tx, then I tried this place... this eas a much better dining experience(live music on Friday night)very quaint and the food was delicious.
Pretzels fresh ... and when I say fresh I mean fresh. The mustard was great.
The beer real and priced fairly.
Very delicious food with a very fun atmosphere. Dinner, dancing and singing. I would recommend it here.
Note: I always write Bavarian and German separate, because many Bavarians are "first Bavarian, the secondly German." Also, the two have different types of food and culture. :)
I liked the place a lot, the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered the sausage plate. Hubby ordered chicken schnitzel, also yummy. The apple strudel was tasty. Will definitely be visiting again, and will recommend to all my friends.

I have been coming to Edelweiss for a few years now, and it is the best German/Bavarian food in the USA, in my opinion. I have also been to Germany and tried their food many times, and Edelweiss gets it spot-on when it comes to traditional, delicious, and authentic German/Bavarian food. I love the Southern German atmosphere at Edelweiss. I feel that I am in a restaurant somewhere in Bavaria when I am there. I also LOVE the music that Edelweiss has to offer. Helga and Mike are great people who play amazing German, Bavarian, Austrian, and Swiss music on their accordions. I totally recommend coming to Edelweiss, and I guarantee that you will not regret it!
I just love the authentic atmosphere and I am delighted with the live music from 18:00 onward.
