Great food large plates. Got a lunch deal 5.75 for shrimp in lobster sauce, rice and soup. Hot and delicious. I will be back for more.
Looks to have a varied menu to choose from. We had to common items Sweet Sour Chicken and Kam Pow Chicken. Both were served hot, with rice and a egg roll. Despite the spartan decor the real value was in the food. While this place is not a buffet, it was a definite step above in quality and value. Prices were also reasonable (ie. $2 tea vs. $4 elsewhere, dinners from $6.75). They also have a brisk take-out business.
Well I ordered the wings and fries. Yesterday I ate some of it at work. On the way home I started to get the chills, shakes, shortness of breath, broke out in a fever, and when I got home I vomited ( the wings came up )and had to take hot showers. ... Food poisoning. Their food is tasty, but I don't think I will be ordering from them anymore. I'm not certain how clean they are in the back room or how the food is prepped. Just be careful.
I ordered chicken chowmein that came with fried rice, chicken on a stick, and cheesecake. When it arrived, I realized that their chowmein does NOT have noodles in it. This is the first place that I know of that does not put noodles in chowmein, it was so bizarre! I would not call even that chowmein because it was far from it. However, I decided to give it a chance anyway but was very disappointed as it was absolutely DISGUSTING. It was slimy and virtually tasteless. I even tried putting soy sauce and pepper on it, but that did not help one bit. The fried rice was strange looking; it was bright neon yellow with chopped onions, peas and carrots, but no egg; it tasted alright, though. The chicken on a stick had pretty good flavor, much like you get anywhere else. Then when I got to the cheesecake, it was frozen solid!! I couldn't even cut it with my fork. Not to mention it took almost an hour to get my delivery, and I only live maybe 10 minutes from the restaurant. Over all, for what I paid to have it delivered, which was over $8 more than what my food actually cost, it was a pretty terrible first experience, and I will NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN.
Only good Chinese I've had in Texas! Cheap and amazing. Haven't had anything I didn't like! Plus good service!
