Dr Packwood is the most unethical, demeaning, abusive doctor I have ever met. He is absolutely lazy and has displayed nothing but pure incompetence. I brought my son in to see him, he refused to give my son and exam and neglected some major medical issues that were in fact confirmed the next day when I received a 2nd opinion. Never see this doctor!!
I would highly advise you not to go here or see this doctor.

I'm a younger mother and happened to be alone I didn't know if he was capitalizing on that and decided he was going to speak that way thinking I was going to take it? But he obviously didn't realize it was going to go like that.
My daughter has been going to doctors since her cornea transplant so she's come accustomed to how it works. During her exam after she was crying and screaming so I picked her up and turned her around to comfort her and calm her down. Dr. Packwood proceeded to tell me "I can't perform a exam if you continue to move her your child has to wait just like everyone else's child" I explained to him you're not going to be able to see anything with her this upset then you are going to tell me her eye looks in distress well yes because she's so upset? He then told me " if you don't like how I do things then you can find another doctor no one told you to come here today you made that choice all on your own you guys can leave!"
I have been going to both the Southlake and Ft worth locations where we have been seeing Dr. Packwood, and every time I dread the visits. While his work may be good, the way these offices are run are BEYOND terrible and leave me absolutely 100% dissatisfied with the entire appointment. I have spent the last two years and going to appointments every three months hoping that the appointments wouldn't be so awful but I just can't handle it anymore. I've waited for nearly two hours at times to see the doctor and he is in the room with me for two to five minutes at the max. If you don't have chip, find somewhere else and save yourself the agony of waiting.
I'm going to always proctect my children and do what's best for them. And leaving was what was best.
Dr. Packwood is awesome. I've never been to the others in his practice, but I would be confident in doing so. Dr. Packwood is not only really nice and compassionate, but he's really knowledgeable and highly observant. My daughter is 15 and has been seeing Dr. Packwood for about 10 years, and he was a God-send for us, and I couldn't be happier to recommend him.
