Called three times today to schedule a new patient appointment. And all three times I was placed on hold for longer than 10 minutes on the third time I was placed on hold, it rang then I heard someone pick up and hang up. I read the reviews and decided to go ahead and try this office since I am wanting to change OBGYN. So much for a first impression.
Dr. English has an excellent bedside manner with patients and their family. My sister had surgery yesterday and she was very apprehensive since this was her first time for any type of surgical procedure. Dr. English took the time to sit down and go over everything that she was going through do, discuss alternate treatment options, and reassure her before setting up the surgery. After surgery she sat down with the family and explained how everything went and told us if my sister needed anything to have the nurses call her even though she wasn’t on call. She came in this morning around 7 am to check on her and again told us to call her if we needed anything.
Each time I go for my appointment I feel more and more reassured, that I will have a smooth pregnancy with the support of Dr. English and her staff. Her nurse Donna always calls me back the same day, when I have questions to different pains, movement, over the counter medications I can take and takes the time to listen to my changes during my first pregnancy. My husband comes to 99% of my appointments and he even commented how kind she is too me. The PA is just as great, especially if I am just going in for labs and I have a quick question.
They are always up to par with everything. Any question I have, they have an answer to it. I've never been rushed at an visit and all the nurses have treated me and my two year old son like family when we are there visiting them. I saw my Pa more than my doc, seeming that doctor English was always out delivering a baby towards the end of my pregnancy. I caught the flu mid summer and that made sure I had the right medicines and that I was okay, as well as this nasty ear ache I also got towards the end of my pregnancy. Super hands on and always making sure me and the baby are healthy! I always recommend them to other women I know that are just finding out they are pregnant. I will miss the entire office when my son is born. Grateful for the hard work they put in.
