Nice COE park In the DFW area. I live in a big 42 ft Toy Hauler so that's my perspective. Big rigs will have to carefully negotiate sites to fit in. Most sites are uneven. For big rigs, 50a, water (no full hook ups) sites 72, 73, 74, 75, 84, 88 & 91 are best and are reserve sites. Stay away from site 76, as it uneven and hard to level a big rig, 77 & 78 are acceptable. Sites 87, 89, 90, 92 & 93 are walk in. We moved when the weekend crowd left down close to the lake. Many of the 30a sites would work fine in cooler months. Pull through sites are really just pull of sites. Power poles are sometimes placed in awkward spots causing you to run your power cord under the rig. Water pressure was weak. I ended up filling my fresh water tank and running that while here. Watch low tree limbs. They have a disclaimer about that's part of the charm, but some spots will give your roof a haircut. 4 stars just for the uneven spots and low limbs for big rigs. Under 35 foot, you shouldn't have to many issues, but watch where you go.
We went here as a last resort this past weekend because every other camping place within an hour from FW was booked. For this place, you can easily book online and choose your spot. So so pleasantly surprised! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. You get a lot of space to yourself, so we definitely felt like we had a lot of privacy. The entrance fee was affordable compared to the other places we had looked at. The hiking trail was cool! It was too cold to swim so cannot attest to the swimming, but it seemed more like a lounge around and fish place. All in all, highly recommend!

It's nice "but" not all of the sites are level. We are in number 45 it's a well shaded spot but the tree limbs might be too low for a 5th wheel or tall motor home we're in a travel trailer 37 ft. Probably 12.5 ft. high. They have horseback riding and Corral's for your horses here also there's also hiking on the horse trail but no mountain biking, there is lots of road biking here with access to downtown Fort Worth.
Very friendly staff. The scenery is breathtaking. It's a wonderful quaint little place to visit
