I visit this park frequently for morning or afternoon runs. Even when the parking lot is packed, once you're out on the trails you could go without seeing people for periods of time. Park is great for family outings but I do not suggest bringing a dog here. Parts of the trail overlook the lake which makes for a great view especially at certain locations where you can sit and view.
The trails are well maintained with most having a beautiful view of the lake. They have also created plenty of stopping points along the lake to either admire the view our take great pictures.
Really nice set of trails for not being to far out of town. Kind of dissapointed there isn't a section you can bring dogs in. There is definitely enough room to keep the pets out if other's hair.
Vey nice park to do some hiking. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area.
Great place for a walk. And a good setting for pictures.
