It's a nicely remodeled theater with comfy reclining seats. It's clean and I like the atmosphere. I wish the seats had cup holders on every arm rest because if someone next to you has a drink you have nowhere to put yours. Also the staff is not very friendly. Very low energy and just going through the motions. But overall I'm there for the movie experience and that part is well done.
My wife and I have been here a handful of times in the last few months and really enjoy coming to this theater! It's easy to get to, plenty of parking, and the theaters themselves are great! Comfy reclining seats, and if you go in the morning on the weekends, the tickets are dirt cheap. The popcorn has also always been good when we've gone.
The popcorn was overpriced and stale. There was a huge mix up on seating. Our tickets were purchased early in the day on line and three other people purchased the same seats. It was a fiasco . Michael the manager did a tremendous job staying cool under tremendous stress and pressure. He accommodated the multiple customers that were double seated. The other staff were nice. However theater floors were dirty. Hope AMC Hulen values the heat Michael took and the quick action he took to find solutions and calm angry customers.
I was cool and comfortable for the experience. The remodel was overall nice. The concession man could definitely use a brush up on the skills. Today I went to the 4:15 Guardians of the Galaxy 2 so it was pretty good to sit back and have a good chuckle. The only get 4 stars because the bathrooms stunk and were trashed and it was slow so no excuses. Ultimately take your kids and go!!
2 people in a pickup truck tried to kidnap me in the parking lot after the movie....
I was in my car alone, literally backing out of my spot when a truck pulls up behind me, blocking me from being able to leave. Some man gets out of the passenger side, grabs an ax from the bed of the truck and starts walking around the truck headed for my car. I panic and start backing up even though I'm about to hit this truck and the driver, I don't care. I gotta get out of there. The driver notices me backing up towards them and slowly moves the truck out of the way (i dont even know where the guy with the ax is at this point) and when I get barely any room to move, I put the car in drive and turn my steering wheel as fast as I can, almost hitting another parked car. But I manage to squeeze outta there and speed off. But that was so weird and scary. I don't think I'll ever be able to come back to this theater. I think I'll stick to the AMC in arlington because at least they have security.
