This is our favorite movie theater. We are stubs members and enjoy all the perks that come with it. The place is always clean and the employees are very competent.
Seats weren't comfortable, staff wasn't friendly. I don't think I saw anybody smile. I was directed to self check out instead of being helped.. even though there was no line. The girl just walked away from the desk? Seemed strange to me. Getting snacks- there was no eye contact, no welcome, no small talk, nothing. She told me my total and that was it. Even my 3 small children were uncomfortable! What happened to hospitality???
Be aware - when you walk into the movie theater you have two lines on for cash and one for credit cards that are not well marked. We stood fifteen minutes in the wrong line and they made us go to the back of the correct line once we got up to the pay window. I wasn't the only one more than half of the line had to relocate per employee. The over all experience and movie was good even though we missed the first of the movie.
work on having someone at the register when you walk in the door. repeat order b4 hand. so that there is no reason that u didn't understand or comprehend what we are asking 4 they changed there cheese sauce, and it's not better. need more hot food items on there menu movie was good seats as well but I don't go on weekends. they are very disorganized
I like this theater a lot. I visit almost every weekend. The tickets are very reasonably priced. The concessions are a little high, but not as high as most other theaters. I don't think people realize that movie theaters make very little money on ticket sales themselves, because the theater only gets to keep about 10% of the ticket sales revenue. That measly 10% doesn't even come close to covering overhead costs. So I happily buy concessions every time I visit, because that is how the theater will stay open (and I love movie-theater popcorn). It is a "support your local movie theater" type gesture on my part. Their popcorn is great. I LOVE that the butter is self-serve and their pretzel bites are AMAZING. I love their nachos and their hot dogs. I have never worked at a movie theater, I'm just an educated consumer and I frequent this theater, so I've tried multiple concession items. I also like the new bar they put in. Of course the drinks are a little pricey, but I've seen higher. The service is always great with friendly staff! To all of you who think their concessions are "overpriced," try going to Cinemark or Rave, and you'll see that AMC concession prices are pretty freaking reasonable! :) I hope this helped and I hope you enjoy your next visit!
