I have lived here a few months. Boyfriend and i moved here. I love the community. It's very quite minus occasional kids. Only complaint are the silverfish.
The property itself is beautiful with many amenities to offer and a great central location. However, my roommate and I have had an issue with a wasp infestation for the last week. The wasps have built several nests on our patio and found their way into our ventilation. All AC vents have been closed and all other fan/vents have been sealed with paper and tape. We have seen wasps in the vents with our own eyes. Not just 1 or 2 either. So far, we’ve killed approximately 12 inside the apartment alone and an additional 50+ after spraying our patio down. However, many are still flying around and occasionally getting into our apartment. We were forced to purchase wasp killer and spray ourselves as we submitted an emergency level work request on August 2nd and it was resolved the next day by a Maintenance technician stating he “sprayed the bushes to be sure” ... We live on the third floor. Not helpful in the slightest. The technician didn’t even attempt notifying us or inspecting our unit whatsoever. I have since emailed the complex AND called with absolutely no response in return. I don’t know what we have to do to get this taken care of. Our apartment is extremely hard to keep cool with our vents being closed off. Highly disappointed in what I thought to be a self acclaimed “Luxury Apartment”. The price you pay here is most definitely not worth the service.
Repeat problems with the AC. They even replaced the unit but have still had to call in maintenance 3 times for AC after the unit was replaced. Unit is nice, but if you have maintenance issues don't count on it being fixed.
Great community but problems have to be escalated to corporate to have any chance of resolution as on site manager is not able to execute basic customer service practices. Read the fine print and double check everything prior to signing as detail is not a priority (I know it's common knowledge but don't let excitement and trust cause you the grief it did me!). As far as complex and units go the property is beautiful and has a lot to offer being central to many great restaurants and attractions as well as an awesome pool!
We currently have hornets coming in through our vents so we are forced to close them and cover up the ones we cannot close with paper and tape. We sprayed our patio down and found 50+ hornets flying out of one of the columns. I know it's more than 50 because we counted how many died after spraying our patio down ourselves. We also found 2 nests beginning to grow on our patio ceiling. Even after spraying and killing that many, I still see hornets flying around every day. We put in a very detailed work order for maintenance and he closed it the next day saying he sprayed the bushes which should help. We live on the third floor and hornet nests aren't really in bushes so this was no help at all.
