2. The labeling of how deep some sections are.
1. Small parking lot only fits over 25+ cars.
Clean well kept fun place for friends and kids. Lots of lifeguards and safe feeling with Police
The things I've noticed and loved was;
Everyone must where an authentic retail swimsuit or you will not be allowed in. No basketball shorts, halter tops ect and they check everyone. It seems like I see at least one family turned away when I visit so I hope this review saves some people disappointment and time. Street clothes respond to the harsh chlorine and many threads are released which clogg the filtration systems. On a happier note a police officer is usually on hand and there are diving boards, and lanes for doing laps. My favorite spot to play gradually deepens upon entrance into water, similar to a sand beach, so no sudden drop into 3 foot water; great for tanning and playing alligator or shark with the little ones!
1. The lifeguards on almost every section made me feel safe.
This place was quite fun! I'll definitely come back again!
2. The bathroom didn't have any lighting sources. Even when it's shiny, it's hard to see.
I am so GRATEFUL we have this city pool open. They have very attentive life guards and life vests available at no charge. One
Overall, I give this place a 9.5/10!
There is no concession stand so pack your cooler with plastic or can drinks and snacks! There are umbrella tables available and nice lawn furniture. The pool always just SPARKELS with clean water! The prices are not higher than $5.00 a person and that is very affordable for all that is available. Oh yes, there are showers in the restrooms. Have Fun!
First problem. My daughter wears a life vest. She was going down the slides just fine. Then out of nowhere they tell her she can't go down with her life vest on anymore. She's 4. So she starts taking her vest off so she can go down...luckily she couldn't do it herself and came down from the stairs asking me to help her. There's a wall there so I didn't even see her doing this. She can't swim. This idiot "life guard" telling a child to take their vest off to CONTINUE to go down the slides would have resulted in my child possibly drowning! Then, I pull out an infant float for my baby. I literally walk to the complete OTHER SIDE of the pool with it in my arms with my baby. I pass at least 4 life guards. Get in the pool for about 5 minutes just for the head guard to get in the pool and tell me I can't have a float in the pool. Waste of my money and time! Totally rude. I've never been so ticked off.
3. How cheap the life vests are! $2!
**IMPORTANT NOTE**
4. It's affordable! I don't know the exact prices, tho!
Nice pool, well maintained. If you bring the allowable attire to get in the water you will really like it. (They ONLY allow swimwear, NO basketball shorts or t-shirts, NO cotton nothing) Oh and if u don't mind following the rules like no cursing at the lifeguards again u will have a blast
The things I hated was
