Avoid using this company at all costs. They are not really an insurance company but a third party administrator (TPA). They are a middle man that is incentivized to under pay on claims.
I had hail damage to my roof.... and this company came right out, looked at my damage and got it all taken care of within 10 days. I really appreciated their professionalism. I will stay with Wellington for my future home insurance needs.
Worst company ever! They give you the go around of what they need and at the end they tell a different story of what you needed. Even if you constantly communicated with them to check if everything is OK. They don't care for their customers. According to them, its the customers fault. Run from this company! Not only are they rood but they also insult you. It dose not matter how far up the later you go to complain. They are not in business to protect you or provide you with good service. They are in business to loop hole their customers. You pay month, after month to be protected. Its so sad to see that I could of been better protected if I would of just saved all that money through out the years. Instead of giving it to a company that would of slowly ripped me off through out the years and when I made my first claim they turned their backs on me. No stars from me. Unfortunately you have to give them a star to write a review.
Horrible service. I'm a contractor who handled one of their insureds hail damage claims. Ive been trying to find out the whereabouts of my completion checks for 3 months with no success. The adjuster doesn't return calls and no on else will either. I'm stuck out for over 5k. They suck. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a reputable company.
Attention my fellow Veterans and hardworking decent people please avoid Wellington Insurance at all costs!!! This company is full of liars and vultures that do everything in their power to deny valid claims as well as try to pay out the minimum. I had some water damaged due to a bad refrigerator water valve and filed a claim with this company. I had water that got through my walls in my kitchen and called this company to make sure that the work by Dry Force to pull out the water would be cover and was told by a associate of Wellington Insurance that it would. After the work was done this company sent me document that informed me that although my claim was valid they would only cover $311 out the $2,522 of the service cost. When I called them a gentleman named Rodney Crowley gave me the run a round. The additional cost to actually repair the kitchen is $9350.00 and they won't cover that either. For a company to take advantage of a disabled veteran is just disgusting. The only reason that this company got one star is because I couldn't put zero stars down. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau today will also be trying to get in touch with the news about this company and its practices.
