This museum is great. I went here with family, including my 10 year old and it was awesome. They had some great installations. I took a ton of pics and just loved being there. They also had a great gift shop. One thing that I didn't like, was some of the people standing around, making sure you don't touch anything, we're pretty rude. One lady told my son to take off his hat. Then told him to stand several feet back. It was embarrassing for him and unnecessary. There's no hat rule. Also, my mother in law got reprimanded for standing too close as well. Not touching, but close. All in all it was cool though
I really liked this museum as I enjoy modern art. I wasn't overtly thrilled at the $10 price tag as most museums I've visited are free, but I wasn't disappointed at all once I realized the enjoyment and time I got out of the visit. I'll be returning.
Beautiful place to go. But I have not been inside. I was only outside. But I hear it's amazing. With all the art and displays. And i heard it's not a bad price to go in.
A fantastic museum with an incredible permanent collection and new exhibits often. Also has amazing events to pick from. The architecture alone is worth a visit. The restaurant looks out on the reflecting pool. The food and service is excellent. Always a film showing. Just the best.
OK - I'm not a big fan of modern art, but the birthday boy we were celebrating is. So for modern art, it's an interesting place. Very intriguing architecture. Don't miss the Kimbell across the street or the Amon Carter behind that. This is Art Central for the art lover.
