THE WORST REALTORS I'VE EVER USED. WE WERE PURCHASING A HOME BUT CATHY TAYLOR USED ANOTHER ONE OF HER AGENTS TO USE THE CUSTOMER AND BID AGAINST US. WE HAD ISSUE AFTER ISSUE WITH THIS COMPANY. THE AGENCY WAS INVOLVED IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITY WITH THE PROPERTY AND THE TITLE WAS CLOUDED. WE LOST THOUSANDS ON TOP OF OUR DREAM HOME. DO NOT, DO NOT USE HELEN PAINTER REALTORS. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST WITH CATHY TAYLOR A COMPLETE JOKE.
I could go on and on about the issues we had, but who has time to read all of that? Punchline is, I will never recommend this company to anyone after the experience we had. I understand things happen, but if you continue to "lose your notes," misquote so many things, never have time for your customers (I was continually told, "I have so many things going on right now, I'll have to get back to you later.") and then top it off with poor communication and blatant lies, you should not be in this business.
I exceeded the character limit when trying to type out all of the issues, so I'll keep it short and sweet. I'd be happy to provide more details to anyone wondering. Similar to a previous review, our initial experience was WONDERFUL.. with Kate, who left as soon as our tenants moved in. We will definitely be switching to her the next time around. From the start, (not with Kate) we had issues.

The people we dealt with at Helen Painter said things were in the contract that were not. They failed to use our home warranty company we had on file for the first 4 months. And after 4 months, I personally had to deal with the home warranty company and do their job for them since they always had an excuse as to why they couldn't get in touch with them. The did not address issues in a timely manner... we are talking multiple months!!! The communication was TERRIBLE. They blamed everyone under the sun except for themselves...previous employees, their vendors, the tenants... we finally got smart and got found the tenants contact information and HP's vendors contact information and got in contact with all of them. We compared stories and they were identical, however, they blamed us when speaking to the tenants and blamed the tenants when speaking to us. They also went as far as making up an ELABORATE, blatant lie as to why an issue didn't get fixed when it was first addressed. "The vendor came out but couldn't fix it bc his ladder was stolen. He came back out and fixed it but couldn't verify it worked bc it's a mercury light and it was day light. And the invoice shows a date 3 months later bc his printer was broken for 3 months, but he really came in January, not march." Hahahaha... I called this vendor and caught Helen Painter in this elaborate lie. He had been to my house in March only and there was no printer issue that caused his DIGITAL invoice to be 3 months late. This was just a way to try to blame someone for late for Helen Painters 3 month mistake.
We were fortunate to be able to rent our property since it did not sell as we had anticipated. Helen Painter was extremely professional.
AMAZING does not even begin to tell you how wonderful Mark Montroy was. We moved here from out of state and when we first asked if Mark could find us a rental in two days he filled our day with excellent potentials and we completed everything in one day. Then when the time came to purchase we knew who we could turn to. He has the patience of a saint and never let us give up hope we would find "The perfect one". I recommend him to everyone even if they are not currently looking!
