I came here to get my nails and hair done. My nails came out terrible. You can see lines from the multiple layers and there are several missed spots. I got my hair dyed by Stephanie and let me just say, she is AMAZING! I wasn't sure what I wanted and she was an incredible help. She made it look awesome! I will definitely go back for hair touch ups, but never again for a manicure. Prices are fairly high, but well worth it.
Got hand-painted highlights at Shelton’s this week and my hair color has never looked better. If you’re looking for a skilled balayage artist ask for Maci. She also did a killer blowout. I’ve been going to this salon off and on for 10 years and have never had bad service.
I do feel it's worth mentioning my horrible experience with presumably novice "stylist" Marcie Baldwin, who somehow managed to turn my long, blonde hair into a auburn, ashy mess. I requested a simple root touch-up and trim and was later blamed for the miscommunication. She and another stylist attempted to correct the color, but still in tears, Marcie stated that I was too upset and should return another time, that my hair now looked similar to when I arrived. She also had the audacity to ask if I still wanted a cut. 3 hours later and hair left in ruins, I wish she had never touched my hair.
Got my nails done here. Love the color, hate the way some turned out. A few of my nails are bubbly as you can see in the picture. Won't go back for nails.
After speaking to the manager, I am giving Shelton's an opportunity to correct my hair with a different stylist.
I went for the first time and my hair looks great, Lacy was my stylist and she did a great job, everyone is very friendly there
