I wanted to write a detailed review so I can actually make people aware of how unprofessional this company is. One might assume that with a name like firefighters finest they have very high standards but our experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. I have called the company 3 times and spoken to 3 different people and they keep telling me they will call me back to resolve this but its been 10 days and I haven't received a single call back and I don't anyone else spending their hard earned money to go through the same thing I did.
Majority of our stuff was packed except for the big furniture and what we expected to take 5-6 hours took them 10 hours. The crew was wasting time talking to each and fighting me at every step and making fun of us every time we asked them to do anything . I was so exhausted trying to deal with them that I even called the Manager in afternoon telling him that his crew was just unprofessional got his phone number when he came to drop off a TV kit that we had ordered when the move was scheduled that they had forgotten to put on the truck. It was series of thing one after another that is leading me to leave this review.
During the walk through I was told they would pack and move anything I needed them to do cause I was paying hourly but when the crew arrived they said " we are only movers and we cant pack stuff" so there itself I was a little taken aback but they had just entered my house I dint think it could get worse but it did.
This moving company cannot be beat. My wife and I are physically unable to handle any part of the packing and lifting required to move home contents. The packing crew of Darlene, Olivia, Lisa, and Carmen, and Kelsey on the second day, did an incredible job of packing the vast volume of our belongings. I observed them taking care to wrap pieces from an inexpensive cup to a valuable antique vase with equal attention to ensuring the pieces will not break in the move. They also accommodated the difficulty of working around two physically challenged people with unusual needs.
First they damaged my wall and my door, wall I realized while they were there but my door I noticed after they had left.
THIS HAD BEEN ONE OF WORST MOVING COMPANIES I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. The crew was disrespectful and unprofessional. Would not recommended them to anyone.
I have used this service 3 times, and each time they are consistently professional. Mike and his crew were EXCELLENT! MIKE took time from his personal schedule AFTER my move to ensure all was well. He drove over 1.5 hours on way, on his own dime, and his own time. I have the utmost respect for him, and will be forever grateful. A+ customer service!!!
We had three young men doing our move. They showed up on time and were so helpful and courteous. Everything was moved onto the truck in a very timely manner. We were moving from a two bedroom to a one bedroom and of course had too much furniture. They gave us good input as to the best placement of furniture. What I really appreciated was they put the unneeded furniture back on their truck and took it to a nearby Goodwill. This is the second time we have used this excellent company for moving and I recommend them to all my friends.
I was told all the furniture was going to be dismantled and shrink wrapped so when I saw them moving my large dining tables as is, I asked them to open it cause it was getting moved to a storage locker and the crew was like " that not how we are use to doing things" i finally had to put my foot down and say this is how I want it done cause its getting moved to another country and I need to save on space. They put up a fight every time I asked them to shrink up or do anything. When my mom who was helping me a 66 year old women tried to give them instructions the crew was making jokes at her. One of the crew members was spitting everywhere. They dumped a $17 blanket in my recycling can and said one of my neighbors found and left it in there so that they would make me pay for it and said it dint belong to them when they had the exact same blankets on their truck. Then when I asked to crew to use this free blanket that apparently my neighbors had found they guy picks it up and flings in my storage locker and says " Shes insisting on using this so here you go" and throws it on my stuff.
Rocky and Jesse were amazing. They were fast and very attentive and careful with our belongings. They carried our furniture from the 3rd floor of our apartments into our home. And they did a three man job with only two. They get a five star rating!! Definitely would recommend Fire Fighters Movers.
