The last two years I have participated in a charity bowl-a-thon event through my work for Junior Achievement. Cityview Lanes has friendly staff and it is a great place for bowling. There were some equipment malfunctions with my lane the last time I went, but the staff was quick to jump on it and get it resolved. And I realize some issues are to be expected. I would recommend Cityview lanes if you are in the are and desire to bowl. Although I have to admit both times I have been have been early and not during regular business hours so I am unsure of how the organization functions under normal conditions.
Older style bowling alley, wide open seating. Well kept, clean restrooms. Snack bar is pricey, but great soft pretzels. No smoking or vaping but the alley still had a slight odor when you first enter.
First time at this bowling alley, and I would recommend it. Took the kids and they had a blast. Facility is clean, prices are affordable, and staff was friendly. We didn't purchase any food from the cafe area, so I can't comment on that.
Went to a birthday party and was very disappointed. They put us in a room that was filthy and smelled like sewage. The bathroom in the room was unbearable. We asked to speak to the manager twice before she finally came and was immediately rude. She admitted that the room was not clean and that they had a sewage issue but said it was not a health issue and she didn't see a problem. Couldn't believe we were spoke to in the manner she spoke to us. She clearly did not care
I had my children's birthday party here yesterday. We were taken to a party room that was disgusting. The floor looked like it hadn't been swept in weeks. The walls were smeared with who knows what. There was a huge hole in the ceiling. The bathroom in the party room was covered in filth and feces. They whole room smelled of sewage as well as the public bathroom outside the party room. I asked to speak to the manager twice. The first time I was told she wasn't there and would be back in 20 minutes and they would have her come talk to me. Before our party was over, she still hadn't come to see what I wanted, so I asked to speak to her again. When she finally came , she walked into the party room, past me. I had to go to her. She was very rude. She admitted there was a known sewage issue and that the room was filthy but didn't understand what I could possibly want from her. I ended up feeding my guests on the tables next to the lanes to keep them from being exposed to the filth in that so called party room. This manager needs a lesson in customer service, manners, and cleanliness.
