I came to Lemongrass with hair that had been botched from a previous competitor's salon, and let me say that Gricelda turned what was a terrible cut into a work of art. She was extremely patient, thorough, kind, detail-oriented, and is gifted at what she does. I do not want to go to any other salon or stylist after the wonderful treatment I received today. Shawn cut my hair about a week ago and he did an amazing job! He is newer to this salon but he has been cutting hair for years. I had long hair and some parts almost to my waist when straightened. And by parts, I mean the parts that weren't broke off! He did a wonderful job of keeping my hair very long, but getting all of the dead ends off. He had the perfect amount of conversation, letting me relax with my eyes closed some of the time and filling the rest with hilarious conversation. I've looked for years to find a hairstylist exactly like him! I currently live in louisiana and work in texas and I will make that drive everytime I need my hair cut from now on. Thanks again Shawn!
It was his first day, yet the experience was really great and he did incredible job fixing a botched haircut I had received two weeks prior. I have been meaning to write this review for weeks, as everyday I go to fix my hair I remember how much I absolutely love it and what a great job he did. This is by far my favorite salon! My appt was at 10:45. I sat around for THIRTY MINUTES waiting only to be told she couldn't do it in time for me to go get my daughter. I had to leave after just sitting around for 30 minutes. If you're on a schedule DO NOT go here. So frustrating.
Our favorite stylist, Shawn, has found the perfect place for his talents. His work is always perfect, both what I ask for and flattering, not always easy to reconcile! Lemongrass feels soothing and revitalizing from the moment you walk in the door. No turnover frenzy here, just a bit of affordable pampering. Love this place already!
