My advice is this: if you are unhappy with anything regarding service/ product etc... , communicate with them. They always are willing to make it right. We love being able to support a small business in our community. 21 years going strong!
Creative Memories was my cake destination for years. I moved away for 4 years and returned to DFW hoping to use them again. In June, I was going to place an order for my husband's birthday and I was told that I had to place an order with a baker from 10-2. But like many people, I work at those times. I had finally gotten a hold of a baker and they quoted $90 for a small sheet cake with a design. No thanks...I found someone to do it for $50. I really wanted to give them a second shot on a simpler cake. I tried again today, and the lady who answered couldn't take my order. This practice is very inconvenient for people who work. This in turn caused me to look at the reviews. It seems like service and quality have both declined. I will not be trying them again. I am glad the reviews saved me the headache.
Went in yesterday for a gluten free cupcake. Although they looked delicious. I walked out because she had them right next to the regular cupcakes. My understanding was this is a normal thing. But for us celiacs it's a cross contamination nightmare waiting to happen. I left disappointed and still craving a cupcake :(
The cakes here a delicious and amazing looking. We ordered a paintball theme cake for our son's 10th birthday. The cake looked so good I didn't want to mess it up by eating it. I will definitely order another cake from here.
I'm a very very honest person when it comes to doing a review and I gotta say I was so not pleased with $3 cupcake that was waaaaayyy overpriced it was very dry and found just not very good.The sweet lady behind the counter was very kind and the customer service was good but the quality of both different cupcakes were maybe average at best I have had much better at most grocery store bakeries for about a $1.50 just to be honest
My family has been using this bakery for 21 years now. The owners know our family by name. It's an amazing family business. Their cakes and cookies are the best anywhere. They also offer amazing gluten free goodies that taste phenomenal as well. The cake decorators are very talented and friendly and always willing to work with us on whatever we want, even surprise us. My daughter had a Donut birthday this year and they did a great job on the cake... all their creative genius.
