I went in the office this morning to try and pick up a transcript. I was a walk-in, so I had to wait for those with appointments to be seen first, which is understandable. I was told to have a seat. I was waiting patiently while another walk-in/person was being assisted. While the IRS representative was assisting him, another employee came in (I assume tardy, because it was already 8:40 at this point). The female IRS representative then proceeded to talk to her co-worker who had arrived late for several minutes about personal matters and to bring him up to speed on clients who were waiting. As they were talking, another walk-in client arrived who spoke only Spanish. The IRS representative who arrived late then took the man who spoke only Spanish before me. As I got up to walk out the IRS rep told me to calm down. I told him I was there before the man who spoke only Spanish, and the female IRS rep began to laugh. I don't know if she was laughing at me walking out or because her co-worker was telling me to calm down. As a result, I left without receiving my transcript. Poor service and unprofessional treatment of taxpayers from a government funded agency is unacceptable. I pay my taxes on time and I would appreciate being treated in a professional manner the next time I visit my local IRS office. I am a very disappointed citizen/taxpayer.
I file my taxes in person at this office on March 9th 2017 and they loss my 1040 form , I have not receive my refund yet. Rude staff and poor knowledge. Horrible experience. IRS employees feel untouchable - no accountability - Our taxes paying lazy inefficient people - got to stop!!!
They treat me way better over the phone than the irs 1040 number representatives do.
Very poor service and rude employees they think they have all the rights in the world to treat the way they treat people...i guess they deserve to be treated the same way..
The service is good but you have to wait a Looooong time to talk to someone
